Anyone try running on Linux using Wine?

I used to run ScannerLive but have since left Micro$oft behind and have entered the world of Ubuntu Linux. Linux has an emulator called Wine that will allow people to run windows programs with varying degrees of success. Out of curiosity, are there any Linux users that have had luck running ScannerL...

I have used the program for a few feeds from LiveATC.net, but you do have to play around with the squelch settings a bit as often the pilot or ATC audio is a little on the quiet side. To enter the LiveATC.net feed: Open the software but do not start scanning. Select Bank Setup Select "Add Manua...

Doesn't look like ScannerLive will work on Ubuntu Linux.

What is probably happening is the software isn't saving your settings on it's own. Try clicking on bank setup, then select the bank you want to save and then click on save. The next time you open the program it should have your new settings enabled. Jeff & Lana Edmonton Fire Radio http://www.edm...

ScannerLive on Ubuntu running Wine

For those of you using Scanner Live to listen to Edmonton Fire Radio, here is the updated URL to get it working again:

Select bank setup and then Add Manual Feed.

For the feed name enter Edmonton Fire Radio. For the feed URL enter http://65.49.77.146:9006/listen.pls

I could be wrong, but the registration that you would enter is the one that is sent when you purchase the software and not what you enter when you register on the forum.
